Thoughts

The main focus of my life has always been music and people. I cherish both equally and each feeds and nurtures the other. According to Mom, I have been singing since I was about 2 and have always as far back as I can remember been drawn to voices and instruments....the magic of harmony...the co-mingling of voices and sound.

Music has always been an emotional and creative outlet - a safe place to retreat into to heal, grow, discover and create....a vehicle to soothe, awaken and uplift others.

My writing comes as much from within, inspired by my personal experience as from without - an outgrowth of observations, shared joy or pain and deepest desire to touch other's souls...to share, to move and to heal.

What an incredible gift music is. The opportunity to bare one's spirit to the world. I thank the stars every moment for this opportunity to share, create, to love and to heal. The blessing and the curse...for if we indeed have something we need to say, then there is someone who needs to hear it and there is no way we cannot express it.! It will surely spill forth in some form or another.

Once begun, this musical journey is a path from which I cannot stray. My destiny?...perhaps....My life's work.... ABSOLUTELY!
